It's my 8th year volunteering with The Tutu Project - having fun while raising awareness and funds for women & men living with breast cancer.
Simple gestures can bring joy and relief. By donning a pink tutu, we start conversations, raise awareness and even spark donations to help those living with breast cancer. The Tutu Project helps people with breast cancer get through their day with support for all those things that cancer doesn’t care about. Life's essentials like a ride to chemo. Child care. Food in the fridge. A mortgage payment. When it seems like getting through the day feels impossible The Tutu Project is there, with emotional support too. Funds raised are awarded in the form of grants to 501(c)3 community-based breast cancer non-profit organizations to conduct outreach, provide financial assistance for everyday stuff that suddenly becomes unaffordable – even for people with insurance.
