It’s October, and Linda thinks she can raise more money than me. Again.
Every year we have this little competition. The winner gets to give the loser a chore for a month. Linda’s already talking about me doing the laundry. I’m thinking she’s getting a little ahead of herself.
Of course, there’s more to this than who ends up folding towels. Linda and I know how expensive living with breast cancer can be. The regular bills don’t stop because you’re in treatment. Your donation helps patients with groceries, rides to treatment, childcare, and utility bills. Having help with those things can take some of the pressure off.
I’d love your help supporting more patients this October. And yes, I’d also like to beat Linda. I’m wearing a pink tutu. I think I’m doing my share. I promise to be a gracious winner. Mostly.
