It's my 7th year volunteering with The Tutu Project - raising awareness and funds for women & men living with breast cancer. The support and joy I've experienced is humbling. You can experience it too!
We've lifted weights, done Pilates, shook our booties, even strutted with Big Foot - in tutus. Corporations have partnered with us. Friends, family members (even pets!) have struck tutu poses. And strangers, recognizing that I am clearly NOT a ballerina (despite the tutu), have inquired, posed and donated!

So where do your donations go? The funds raised are awarded in the form of grants to 501(c)3 community-based breast cancer non-profit organizations to conduct outreach, provide financial assistance with incidental expenses not covered by medical insurance - everyday stuff that suddenly becomes unaffordable – even for people with insurance. Simple things like a ride to chemo. Child care. Food in the fridge. A mortgage payment. The Tutu Project helps people with breast cancer get through their day with support for all those things that cancer doesn’t care about. When it seems like getting through the day feels impossible The Tutu Project is there with a little emotional support too.
